SMILES FOR SHUT-INS
On Sunday, February 14, the LWML members of Bethany Lutheran Church in Vacaville, California constructed simple Valentines for 18 shut-ins. Some went to church members, and others were in a skilled nursing facility nearby. The Valentines held a Bible verse and a word search puzzle and each lady signed her name to the card. Because candy is a traditional treat, each shut-in also received a small heart box of assorted chocolates.
