A Zoom Board Meeting got us back on track for LWML on March 13. Sometime during the Lockdown, I lost track of my responsibilities as a Zone President, a Senior Moment of great length! It was good to see all the ladies and talk about plans. Our Zone Human Care project through May is again collecting food for local food banks due to the large numbers of people still having hardships.
Being in the Central Valley, some of us are still in the purple and red tiers. Gatherings, even small ones at the churches, are frowned upon by those in authority. Most societies are only collecting mites while others have Zoom or masked in-person meetings depending on local rules.
Zone 3 is planning a Zoom Rally on Saturday April 17. Good Shepherd, Turlock, is hosting. Our speaker is from Westside Ministries and we have been promised a children’s chorus for our entertainment! Naomi, Grace, Modesto, plans to meet at the church to “attend” the Rally together. There is some talk that the Zone President will provide lunch. Hmmm.
